You may have already heard the news, but just in case you haven’t, Rihanna and Puma are teaming up once again to bring you the latest installment of Fenty x Puma, the sporty fashion label headed up by the global superstar. The sub-label has been on hiatus since 2018, which is when RiRi launched her Savage x Fenty line. But now, it’s kicking off a new chapter, starting with a sneaker: the Avanti—and you can buy a pair as early as today.
Rihanna’s partnership with Puma first began in 2015, when she was named the creative director of the Puma Women’s division. Rihanna and Puma eventually launched the Fenty x Puma collection, which started with a sneaker (the Creepers, for those who are wondering). It only makes sense that things would come full circle as the label makes its return. This time around, the fashion and beauty mogul reimagines this unisex soccer-inspired sneaker, which is available for both adults and kids. Available in metallic silver or black and white, the Fenty x Puma Avanti sneakers feature a foldover tongue, a gum outsole, and a leather footbed, finished off by gold embossed details.
If you’re wondering how to buy Fenty x Puma Avanti sneakers, I’ll tell you: they’re available on Puma’s website. The black-and-white style is available for $160, while the chrome silver option is retailing for $170.
As someone who’s attempted to shop past collections from the line (key word being attempted), I suggest you snap a pair up as soon as you can. There’s no doubt these are going to sell out. This is Rihanna we’re talking about, after all. You might even want to get additional pairs for the whole family, while you’re at it. And no matter which option you choose—the chrome or black—they are sure to be a fall staple among your cool sneakers collection.
