Travis Kelce Says He Feels ‘On Top of the World’ as Taylor Swift Romance Progresses

Must read

On Friday, Travis Kelce was grilled about his budding relationship with pop star Taylor Swift, and he had nothing but good news to share. The Kansas City Chiefs player came out for an interview at the team’s practice facility, sharing how it feels to be at the center of so much speculation.

“As all the attention comes it feels like, you know, I was on top of the world after the Super Bowl and right now even more on top of the world,” he told reporters. “It’s fun.”

Swift has attended two games to see her rumored love interest, one at Arrowhead Stadium and another last weekend at MetLife Stadium, where the Chiefs faced off against the New York Jets. At the October 1 game, she brought friends Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sabrina Carpenter, Sophie Turner, and Hugh Jackman, adding to the spectacle. These appearances have sparked even more intense interest in the potential couple.

“We’re learning with the paparazzi just taking photos from all over the place, but at the same time it comes with it,” Kelce continued. “You got a lot of people that care about Taylor and for good reason.”

He added, “Just gotta keep living and learning and enjoying the moments. At the end of the day, I’ve always been pretty good about compartmentalizing and being able to stay focused in this building. So I’ll just keep rolling with that.”

Some NFL fans have expressed annoyance on social media about the Swift mania, suggesting it’s a distraction from the game. However, Kelce said he is only interested in the opinion of his teammates, and they are supposedly enjoying the attention as well.

“Everybody’s having fun with it, you know? Whether I think they’re overdoing it or not, I know I brought this to myself,” he said. “I’ve been fortunate enough to have with it. That’s all that matters, that it’s not pissing anybody off, over here at least.”
