It’s safe to say that in the last couple of years, Hailey Bieber has become the ultimate icon when it comes to dewy, glowing skin. With her skin-care line, Rhode, the model is constantly flaunting her legendary, “glazed-donut” skin, and we’re always on the lookout for any and all tips she has for creating her effortlessly glass-like complexion. This past weekend, Bieber posted a YouTube video giving the rundown on how she creates her “go-to glowy summer makeup look”, which relies on this skin tint.

After applying a mixture of Rhode products–her “holy grail” for skin prep–Bieber began her tutorial with the viral underpainting technique, where you apply contour before your base. Using the Hourglass Vanish Foundation Brush ($47), the star contours her cheekbones, forehead and jawline with the Makeup Forever HD Skin Cream Contour and Highlight Sculpting Palette ($85). “I just feel like the snatch you get from this technique is pretty undefeated,” she says.

After ensuring a bronzey base, Bieber goes in with the Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer ($36) around the eyes and nose as well as on the chin, forehead and underneath the cheekbones. She then buffs out the contour and concealer to avoid any harsh lines, before applying the Hourglass Veil Hydrating Skin Tint Foundation ($49). “It’s really beautiful and gives such a nice glow, but also has really good coverage,” she says. Bieber also says the product is perfect for summer because it allows your skin to breathe but still provides ample coverage.

The celeb then adds two shades of blush to her cheeks before applying the Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder ($49) to the under eyes and under the cheekbones. For the eyes, she uses the SIMIHAZE AM/PM Magnetic Eye Quad Eyeshadow ($55) in Milkway, specifically taking the light, rosey pink shade and applying to the whole eyelid, before finishing the look with Hourglass Caution Extreme Lash Mascara ($32). Bieber finished the video by applying a lip combo that she is “not ready to tease yet” off camera, so we will have to keep our eyes peeled for new makeup hints coming soon.
