Why: After a collaboration during New York Fashion Week, Willy Chavarria and Tequila Don Julio joined forces again to celebrate Día de Muertos by inviting the designer to outfit two massive Catrinas outside the entrance to their party in L.A. Chavarria’s modern take on Chicano luxury and streetwear were on full display, with graphic tees juxtaposing sweeping taffeta skirts. After the party, the Catrinas will be donated to The National Museum of the American Latino.
