You’ve probably heard about caviar in skin care, but Bioyona takes it one step further. After intensive research, the brand found that using embryonic stem cells of deep-sea fish species can be more beneficial than caviar or roe. They used this knowledge to create patented biotechnology, Totipotent Prostembryona Factor (TPF), which is more easily absorbed by skin. The result is an excellent anti-aging ingredient that boosts moisture, brightening, elasticity and firmness.

Sure, snail serum and honey from bees are trending ingredients in skin care but what about snail, bee and snake venom? Intoxicated Cosmetics’ serums feature formulas based on ectothermic animal venom, plant-based stem cells and a number of active biomimetic peptides and natural ingredients. Their goal is to bridge the gap between topical products and injectable solutions, even mimicking some of the effects of neurotoxins.

As a new owner to curtain bangs, I’ve learned a lot. One of the biggest lessons I’ve come by is that, often, the bangs need to be washed sooner than the rest of your hair. Cue me crouched over a sink, trying to wash only my bangs without getting the rest of my hair wet. Just hours after I did this before the conference, Qweenicap sat down with me and solved all of my problems. While we love faux eyelashes, the glue we use to put them on certainly doesn’t love our skin back. Thankfully we learned about Goodbye Glue Strips that allow you to easily and safely apply and remove lashes with a medical-grade sticker.

Once we learned about TiL, we wanted to make it our entire personality. A trio of sisters were inspired by the gorgeous linden trees on their family’s property to make wellness products. The linden is known for its calming powers. The sisters have implemented linden skin, hair and body products as well as supplements and perfume. It’s worth noting Françis Kurkdjian worked on the fragrance, so you know it’s divine.

Joon is a culmination of Persian traditions and modern science. The founders took their experience in their grandmother’s kitchen and their hair salon expertise to create the formulas behind Joon featuring saffron, rose, fig and pomegranate. The Saffron Hair Elixir Oil ($28-$50) is a current favorite.
