On stage, Taylor Swift has been paying tribute to herself and more specifically, all of her albums, during her Eras tour, which first began in March. Since then, we’ve had many chances to admire her makeup and hair. While her on-stage glam is noteworthy, we’re also loving her everyday beauty moments, namely the loose waves, blue eye makeup, and bright red lipstick she recently wore.

On June 26, Swift was spotted strolling the New York City streets in a striped button-up shirt, a pale blue pleated skirt, and a navy blue cap. The dark hat covered most of her bangs, save for a few wisps poking out right around her eyebrow area. The rest of her blonde hair cascaded in loose waves towards her chest. Her tousled hair had a lived-in, relaxed vibe as if Swift had washed her hair earlier that day and let it air dry. Alternatively, the texture could simply be the result of days-old curls that’ve fallen flat.

She paired her cap and waves with minimal makeup, namely baby blue shadow on her lids and a sliver of a cat eye. In true TSwift fashion, her lips were coated with vibrant red matte lipstick.

Though we have now come to associate rouge lips with Swift, it wasn’t always that way. In fact, her love affair with the classic hue started here at Allure with Swift’s April 2009 cover shoot. Makeup artist Gucci Westman had done the singer’s makeup for the shoot and convinced Swift’s mom to let her paint Swift’s lips red for the first time. The rest is history.
