There’s no doubt about it, 2023 is the year of SZA. The musician is celebrating the extreme success of her latest album, SOS., and it’s not just her career that’s thriving — her curls are too.
SZA shared a gallery of pics and videos to celebrate the album hitting number one for the third week in a row; the carousel included some memes, some landscape shots and more than a few gorgeous beauty moments. In the intro video, the “Kill Bill” singer turns the camera on herself to show off her signature loose curls and killer smile, enhanced by lip liner and a pale pink gloss. In another shot, she poses in a bright yellow ensemble with her hair in a shiny, layered ’90s-style blowout.
Towards the end of the carousel is the real surprise — SZA as a redhead! The musician doesn’t often deviate from her dark hair color and longer length styles, but she briefly changed it up with a bright auburn color and a cloud of fluffed-out curls. Fellow musician Ice Spice, known for her copper red hair, even weighed in, commenting “Exactly” on SZA’s post.
