It didn’t take long for Selena Gomez’s visit to the City of Love to spark some dating rumors. On Monday, Page Six reported that Gomez was photographed holding hands with a “mystery man” while leaving a hotel where she had dinner with friends, including Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham. The group also attended a Paris Saint-Germain soccer game that day.
But the man isn’t Gomez’s boyfriend, fans quickly pointed out. He’s Ramsey Austin, and he’s dating Theresa Mingus, one of Gomez’s closest friends.
Mingus is also with Gomez and the group in Paris. She even shared photos of her and Austin having a cute PDA moment there.
She appeared with Gomez at the game, wearing a gray blazer at the end of the group’s row:
Gomez, meanwhile, went viral over the weekend when she posted a TikTok poking fun at her single status. She has been vocal about not being taken on her social media for months:

However, Gomez is very dedicated to her friends. Mingus and Gomez, in particular, have a years-long history, with Mingus once working as Gomez’s assistant. Mingus even discussed how it felt watching Gomez’s mental health struggles in the singer’s documentary, My Mind & Me.
Mingus also runs La’Mariette, a swimwear line that’s featured Gomez as a model and a collaborator. “She’s just so supportive,” Mingus told ELLE.com in an October 2020 interview.
For her Paris outing with friends yesterday, Gomez wore a mesh Ronny Kobo leopard dress, which is still available:
