Rare Beauty has been taking over social media and winning over consumers hearts since its release, and founder Selena Gomez has quickly become one of our favorite beauty influencers. We’re always keeping an eye out for anything the singer has to say in terms of all things makeup, skin care and more. Last night, Gomez posted on Rare Beauty’s Instagram to share her unconventional contour method, and we’re intrigued to say the least.

When we think contour, we think chiseled cheekbones, a snatched nose and sometimes a shaped out forehead, but Gomez’s contour tutorial revealed a new addition to the classic contour technique that we’re eager to try out. Utilizing the Warm Wishes Effortless Bronzer Stick ($26) in shade Happy Sol, the brand founder added lines of contour coming out from her eyes and up her temples in addition to all the classic bronzer spots

The technique results in an even more snatched look, as the added contour around the eyes and temples helps to created a sharp, more lifted appearance for the whole face. Between her positive attitude and her well-made cosmetics, there’s few things Sel could do that we wouldn’t try, and you can bet we’re going to be testing out this Gomez-approved contour hack on our next night out.
