Halloween is still nearly three weeks away, but that hasn’t stopped lots of folks from getting into the spooky spirit by incorporating darker tones into their style, whether that’s with clothing, hair color, makeup shades, or, of course, nail polish. Even if you’re not into Halloween, dark manicures are undeniably a fall staple. But even though Kourtney Kardashian has a well-documented love of brooding beauty and fashion looks — like inky nails — this time of year, it seems she’s currently breaking with tradition.

On Wednesday, October 11, the reality TV star and entrepreneur posted a carousel of photos in which she’s modeling a black fishnet-like outfit over black undergarments. “Are you a good witch or a bad witch?” she wrote in the caption, leaning into the vibes. She wore a moody take on latte makeup, with brown and bronze tones applied by makeup artist Tonya Brewer, and her tendril-accent updo, styled by Dimitri Giannetos, is the perfect pairing for the ensemble, especially since she’s gone back to nearly black

But upon close inspection, it looks like Kardashian’s nails didn’t get the memo. Her manicure is decidedly not witchy and not particularly autumnal either. From the peeks she’s giving in the photos, it appears she’s wearing a sheer beige or light pink polish — something Glinda might wear, unlike the goth-vamp ‘fit.
