Should I dye my hair platinum again or go dark?” Little did we know, Kardashian’s honey-blonde transformation would stand as the prerequisite to the end of her blonde era and the start of a new year with her signature dark brown hair color.
On December 25, the @kimandnorth TikTok page posted an official glimpse of Kardashian’s brunette hue as she and her daughter North West voiced over Mariah Carey’s viral lyric “It’s Time.” In the video, you’ll find hairstylist Chris Appleton casually adding some finishing touches to Kardashian’s soft curls, while North stands fully ready for the Christmas festivities to come.
She brought back the hair color with a classic Kardashian hairstyle; her hair parted down the middle with soft curls that fell just to the waist. The best part of all is that she surprised us with the change on Christmas, later sharing the look on Instagram with photos from her holiday shoot with her children North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
Throughout the years, we’ve kept tabs on every hair color transformation the SKKN by Kim founder has opted for. She had fun with a blue shoulder-length bob back in 2017 and pink it was at the start of 2018. This year, she committed to platinum blonde for the 2022 Met Gala and has now found her way back to that lovely rich brown hair color the world originally met her with.
