At the end of September, Kerry Washington‘s memoir, Thicker Than Water, will finally be available, and her much-anticipated book tour can commence. In the meantime, the Little Fires Everywhere actor has been soaking up the sun in Jamaica with two-toned goddess locs, stunting in sparkly gowns in Puglia and living it up in chili red pepper-hued ensemble and voluminous curly ponytail at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.
Before heading out to the concert, Washington posted a video, which showed her running around a pool while lip-syncing Swift’s “August,” with the caption, “And by the way I’m going out tonight (Kerry’s version) #RedEra #ErasTour.” Her bright red bodycon and matching heart-shaped glasses are equally appropriate for a Swift show and the end of this tomato girl summer.
Her dark hair was parted down the middle and slicked into a low ponytail. As she ran around the pool, it flew behind her like a cape, with a great amount of texture, frizz, and fullness that flowed down to her mid-back.
To top off the look, Washington paid homage to Swift’s signature makeup look with a matte red lip — perhaps Fenty Beauty’s Icon Velvet Liquid Lipstick in MVP or the classic Ruby Woo from M.A.C. Cosmetics? And of course, she matched her nails as well.
