Kendall Jenner Was Marilyn Monroe For Halloween With the Perfect Hair Look

On Sunday morning, Kendall Jenner posted a carousel of images displaying her 2023 Halloween costume as actress Marilyn Monroe. Her outfit for the holiday was fairly basic, just a skintight black turtleneck and white shorts. The costume was all in the flawless presentation of a platinum blonde bob wig. She also had on classic diamond chandelier earrings and her face was in full glam.

In the carousel, a number of the photos are blurry, but she included a short video clip in which she vamps for the camera before breaking out into giggles. In the caption, the model wrote, “happy birthday mister president.”

The Jenners and Kardashians are clearly fascinated by the iconic performer. Kim Kardashian famously wore one of Monroe’s actual gowns to the Met Gala in 2022, the shimmering nude piece in which Monroe serenaded John F. Kennedy on his 45th birthday. She sang “Happy Birthday, Mr. President,” as Kendall quoted.

And Kylie Jenner dressed up as Marilyn for a V Magazine video cover in 2019, wearing a version of the slinky bright pink dress Monroe wore for her number “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend” in the movie Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.

The family also shares a tradition of going all out for Halloween. This year, Kourtney Kardashian got in on the fun even though she is very far along in her pregnancy, her first with husband Travis Barker. But she still dressed up in a playful homage to her sister Kim, wearing a costume recreation of her 2013 Met Gala look. At that time, Kim was pregnant with North West, and now Kourtney has everything she needs to recreate the look, including the belly.

She captioned the pictures of herself in the Givenchy-style floral jersey gown with the words, “Freaky Friday.”

Kim then shared the pics in her Instagram Stories with some hand clapping emojis.
