I understand that food-named beauty trends, like tomato girl makeup, strawberry girl makeup, honey lips, and who knows what else the internet will come up with, are tired and played out. Even (or perhaps especially) as a beauty writer, I roll my eyes like some of you do when these trends pass my social media feeds. However, with that said, I can’t think of a better way to describe Karol G‘s latest nail color other than strawberry milk.

Her new “strawberry milk” set made an appearance at her August 19th performance at Pasadena’s Rose Bowl. (She is currently in the midst of her Mańana Será Bonito tour.) Her uber-long almond-shaped tips were a sheer baby pink and matched the pastel ends of her hair. Though the Colombian singer hasn’t shown her nails yet on her own feed yet, Los Angeles-based nail artist Chaun Legend, who created the pink mani, posted close-ups of her nails and the products used on his Instagram

In the caption, Legend noted that he “only had a short time to do new set before she had to run on stage,” but he didn’t share how long the pale pink manicure took. To achieve this strawberry milk hue, he layered The Gel Bottle’s nail polishes in Marshmallow and Silk, which are his “two favorite sheers.”

Unfortunately, those products are only available to the pros, but we think the following shades are similar: Sally Hansen’s Insta-Dri Nail Polish in In a Blush, OPI Infinite Shine Nail Polish in Baby, Take a Vow, and Essie nail polish in Ballet Slippers and Vanity Fairest. If you rather forgo the nail painting process completely, try press-onsKiss’s Bare But Better Nude Nails comes in seven nude hues, but we think Glam Nude and Nudies are the closest to a strawberry milk hue.
