Julia Garner’s Hairstylist Loves This Shine Mist

Must read

Julia Garner’s baby pink Gucci gown may have drawn eyes at last night’s Golden Globes, but it was the actress’ perfectly coiffed strands that stole the show.

Garner, who took home the Golden Globe for best supporting role for her work in Ozark, sported a high-shine, perfectly sculpted pixie complete with sideswept bangs for a casual finish.

Celebrity hairstylist Bobby Eliot was in charge of Garner’s hair and says he was inspired by the star’s gown for the look. “The dress is like a breath of fresh air, and we wanted the hair to feel easy and modern to compliment it.”

To create the look, Eliot sprayed René Furterer STYLE Protect Thermal Protecting Spray “section by section all over the hair.” Next, he used a pea-sized amount of the Absolue Keratine Ultimate Repair Serum and applied to the ends. To create volume and shape, he then “used a small amount of the René Furterer STYLE Sculpting Mousse, and applied to the roots, then combed it through using a wide tooth GHD detangling comb to melt the products together.”

After using a ghd hairdryer to blow the hair smooth and a flat iron to mold, Eliot used the STYLE Shine Mist from René Furterer, “lightly spraying all over to achieve a high-gloss finish.” The last steps included a spritz of the René Furterer STYLE Texture Spray at the roots for added texture and a coat of the René Furterer STYLE Finishing Spray to lock it all in place.
