Jennifer Lopez brought the best of both worlds together with her latest holiday look. On December 25, Christmas Day, she shared a set of photos with her sleek bun, burgundy-red lip, and pointed Peter Pan collar offering a soft grunge aesthetic that ultimately channeled the trendiest fictional star of the season, Wednesday Addams.

We paid close attention to all that she spoke about in her email newsletter, “On the JLo,” where she shared some insight on her preferred hues during the holidays. “This time of year, I love wearing neutral colors with pops of red,” she mentions. Her outfit and makeup did indeed have lots of red elements to them. Her hair was slightly parted down the middle and tied up into a low bun with her baby hairs finely combed back at the hairline. Of course, Lopez complemented the look with white floral earrings and shimmery eye shadow blended throughout the lids and up toward the brow bone.

Manicurist Tom Bachik later solidified her liking for neutral color combinations with a photo of one of Lopez’s holiday nails; a dainty French manicure minimally adorned with glitter. Her ballerina-shaped manicure was complemented by a thin white line painted along the base of the silver French accent.
