Clearly, it’s Saweetie‘s night because the Icy Girl knows a thing or two about making a flashy statement, and she clearly understood the assignment with a black gown, full beat, and hair styled into an updo that would make Pamela Anderson smile to welcome the new year.
The Bay Area-raised rapper posted six photos including a close-up shot showing details of her makeup, showing off her black strapless gown with a deep V, bedazzled silver stilettos, and Pamela Anderson-inspired updo. Holding one blinged-out shoe in hand in most of the photos, Saweetie showed off her posing skills that surely would have earned her a win on an America’s Next Top Model challenge.
She often plays around with fun hair colors and decided to go with a bright blonde color for this hairstyle. Her curled hair was styled into a messy top knot with several tendrils of hair poking out. More pieces of hair were left out at the nape of her neck and the side of her face, creating that “undone” look that’s key to the updo. Her slightly curled fringe just barely grazed her eye, but you can still see parts of her eyebrows, which were arched to perfection.
