Cher has been one of the most enduring beauty superstars since she hit the scene in the 1960s, setting trends left and right like it’s NBD. More than fifty years after she made her debut, the musician and actor shows absolutely zero signs of stopping. Case in point? Her current nail art, which combines the summer’s trendiest milk bath style with the equally trendy French manicure resurgence, all done in signature Cher style.
Cher hosted a holiday event tied to the release of her Christmas album in Santa Monica, California, bringing her Cherlato gelato truck along for the fun. If you peek closely at the hand gripping her microphone, you’ll see that she opted for a neutral milky nail with a thick, creamy white French tip, more like an “American manicure” than a traditional pink and white French. Simple, sophisticated, sweet, right? But that’s not all! Cher also added some delicate silver detailing to her nails to give them that holiday-ready glimmer and sparkle, taking a traditional French-style mani up a notch. Upon close examination, it looks like a slim, metallic ribbon painted right under the tip portion of her nail, as though her manicure isn’t just nail art, it’s a gift (to us!) too.
