My whole life, I’ve never been a morning-shower person, but even as an evening shower girl, there are times where I just need to hop in for a wash before I head out for the night. Aside from just not being a morning person, one of the main reasons I didn’t shower in the morning was because I did not trust my hair to air dry in a way that was suitable to leave my house. But, once I discovered this daily hair towel, my hair dries so frizz-free, I no longer need to coordinate my showers to my outings.

What it is:

Designed with hair health in mind, Daily Concepts’ Daily Hair Wrap Towel ($18) was specifically created to dry hair without pulling or tearing, all while preventing frizz and leaving hair smooth and manageable after use. Formulated with a pouch inside the towel for easier storage of the hair inside the towel, wrapping your hair in the Daily Concepts towel after your bath or shower will ensure your hair dries in a way that is both healthy and good-looking.

How to use:

After showering or bathing, flip your head upside down and place the towel over your hair, with the elastic at the ends of your hair. Then, twist the towel and fasten it to the button at the base of the scalp and voila! I’ve tried other hair towels before, and the issues I’ve had with them have to do with either not fitting my hair comfortably or not staying on securely. With Daily Concepts, though, I never find myself shoving loose strands into the wrap thanks to the convenient size and internal pocket, and once the wrap is on, it’s not going anywhere. I can do my full skin- and body-care routine post-shower with this towel on and it won’t budge, which is such a lifesaver, especially when I’m in a rush and don’t have time to be repositioning every couple of minutes.

After drying my hair with this towel, I find my hair to be so much more manageable and presentable without heat styling. In the past, having used regular towels not created with healthy hair in mind, my hair would be frizzy and knotty after drying, but Daily Concepts has completely changed that. You can also use the Daily Concepts wrap on dry hair for control and manageability, so I’ve also used it to keep my styled hair up and out of my way during makeup sessions.
