Bachelorette star Gabby Windey is known for her radiant skin and her outspoken personality, but even she has struggled with acne in the past. In a recent Instagram Q&A, Windey revealed that she’s found success with a combination of microneedling, microcurrent, and AviClear laser treatment.

“For skin if you do anything, do microneedling and microcurrent,” sha shares, “and AviClear has honestly helped my textured skin/acne so much,” Windey wrote in response to a question about her beauty secrets.

Clearly interested in her acne and skin-care journey, another follower asked a follow-up question about the laser treatment. “Did you purge from AviClear? I want to do it so badly but I’m scared,” the follower asked. “Yes but cannot recommend it enough,” replied Windey.

Purging is a common side effect of acne treatments, including AviClear. It occurs when the treatment brings all of the underlying acne to the surface of the skin at once. Purging can last for several weeks, but it is usually temporary.

What is AviClear laser treatment?

AviClear is a new type of laser treatment that is specifically designed to treat acne. It is the first and only FDA-approved energy device for the treatment of acne of all severities. It works by killing the bacteria that causes acne and reducing the production of sebum, the oily substance that can clog pores.

AviClear is a non-invasive treatment that is typically performed in three sessions. Each session lasts about 30 minutes, and there is no downtime. It is effective in treating all types of acne, including mild, moderate and severe acne.

Is AviClear right for me?

If you are struggling with acne, AviClear may be a good treatment option for you. Talk to your dermatologist to see if AviClear is right for you and your skin’s needs.
