Life is hard—your makeup shouldn’t be. Rihanna seems to share this same sentiment with her latest launch, the Eaze Drop Blur + Smooth Tint Stick. It sits at the intersection of a lightweight foundation and a skin tint—it’s the perfect base for when you want the “I woke up like this,” face. An easy application process for an effortless look. The stick is available today and we have all the details on Fenty Beauty’s latest launch.

As we’ve continued to move through the pandemic, ease has been on the frontline of what people want—whether it’s a 2-in-1 product or something that’s easy to throw in your bag. The Eaze Drop Blur + Smooth Tint Stick does both. The stick format allows this product to be dropped into your handbag on the way to work or your makeup bag if you are traveling. “I wanted to create that take-with-you anywhere foundation that’s so easy to use, you can’t mess it up,” shares Rihanna via press release.

Anyone can take it anywhere because the stick is available in 25 shades (just like their Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint in the liquid formula). The formula is lightweight yet buildable. You can swipe directly onto your skin and blend in with your hands or you can blend in with a brush (the latter was my personal choice). Many foundation sticks on the market can leave your base face looking cakey; however, the Eaze Drop Blur + Smooth Tint Stick contains murumuru butter and sodium hyaluronate to leave your skin hydrated. With the packaging, the top twists up, so you can access the foundation as needed, and twists allll the way up, so you can get every last bit with ease.

ELLE Editors did a deskside to take the new formula on a spin. First, I was impressed how it melted right into my skin and blended so easily. I’m a 420 in the Fenty Pro Filt’r foundation and my shade in the Eaze Drop Blur + Smooth Tink Stick matched perfectly at a 20—between the Fenty filter and the ease of this foundation match, I’m more confident shade matching myself virtually with the brand. Once you know your shade in one product, you can easily match yourself. The foundation feels light, almost like I’m wearing nothing; however, I look perfectly polished without being overdone. It was after I wore it for a few hours that I really fell in love. While on a Zoom I kept on looking…at myself…the foundation looked so natural! My skin was glowing! I’m a full glam type of girl and I loved the look. It’s like your skin, but better, and even at the end of the day you don’t have that heavy feeling on your face from your foundation.

For ELLE’s Beauty Commerce Editor, Nerisha Penrose, she was impressed with how the formula handled hyperpigmentation. “As a full-coverage gal, any product claiming to be “your skin but better” never truly entices me. I deal with my acne scars daily, so the last thing I want to do is see them through my makeup. However, the new Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Tint is a deceptive little wonder that does a great job of covering my spots while still remaining natural and slightly dewy and giving my skin room to breathe. It’s creamy and buildable if your heart desires full coverage, but this tint stick helps me embrace my skin without completely hiding the imperfections that make me, me.

The new Eaze Blur Drop Blur + Smooth Tint Stick is another travel friendly addition to the Fenty Beauty family. Continuing the trend of ensuring makeup is not only simple, but also effective, makes this foundation stick a must-have for your travel bag. You can shop online at FentyBeauty.com and Sephora.com as well as in Sephora retail stores.
