Fab Over 40 Competition: The Next-Level Fundraiser to Benefit National Breast Cancer Foundation

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Colossal is doing its part by presenting the Fab Over 40 Competition in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

In 2022, Colossal raised an astounding $8.2 million in support of NBCF. The associated grant, generously presented to NBCF by Colossal’s dedicated partner, DTCare, a 501(3)(c) charity, enabled the foundation to channel resources into critical programs and services, encompassing education, detection, navigation, and inspiration for individuals battling breast cancer and their loved ones. The grant enabled NBCF to provide invaluable assistance, including navigation support for 51,047 patients, breast health education for 16,137 women, 9,771 mammograms, 6,745 HOPE Kits, outreach to 1,721 women through community programs, and more.

The 2022 Fab Over 40 winner, April Wilcox, has joined Colossal’s initiative to make a huge impact for NBCF by becoming an ambassador for the brand, accompanying Hagen and other members of the Colossal team in visits to NBCF’s headquarters in Dallas, Texas and packing care kits for breast cancer patients at Moody Center for Breast Health.

This year’s Fab Over 40 champion will win $40,000, a spa-cation in beautiful Scottsdale, AZ, and a 2-page feature in NewBeauty Magazine. Voting in the competition will begin on October 9th.
