When a celebrity loves nail art, they love nail art, always changing it up in creative ways. Take Saweetie for example: She may have a go-to nail artist, but she rarely sticks with one manicure for long. And Megan Thee Stallion has had so many assorted nail-art moments that we can’t even fit them all in one roundup. But unlike those who love variety, one of the original members of the Famous People With Flashy Nails Club, Dolly Parton, has, at least in the last year, approached nail art with a different philosophy: If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

On Wednesday, October 11, Parton attended the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala wearing a silver leather corset and a rhinestone-covered pink mesh shrug. I can’t say I’ve ever seen her wear that particular outfit before, but something about her ensemble was very familiar: her manicure.

Each of the legend’s long, squared-off nails featured was painted half hot pink, half red, with a silver line splitting the Valentine’s-esque colors diagonally through the middle. It’s a color combination I know Parton loves, not only because she regularly incorporates it into her makeup and fashion choices, but because I’ve spotted this very manicure on her several times over the past year.
